Popular Kigurumi-Friendly Conventions
Comicup (CP)
The largest doujin event in China, held in Shanghai. Think of it as China’s Comiket.

- Kigurumi presence: High - dedicated photo areas available
BiliBili World (BW)
Organized by Bilibili (China’s YouTube/Twitch hybrid), these events feature concerts, exhibitions, and cosplay.

- Where: Various cities (Shanghai, Guangzhou, etc.)
- Kigurumi presence: Growing community
Doll Weekend
The event specifically focused on kigurumi and doll culture.
- When: Varies by city
- Where: Multiple cities across China
- Kigurumi presence: This is THE kigurumi event
Registration and Ticketing
The Challenge for Foreigners
Most Chinese conventions use systems that require:

- Chinese payment methods (Alipay/WeChat Pay)
- Chinese ID for some events
